DSAMT’s new “Club Can Do” program is a weekly small group event focused on practicing social and academic skills in a casual, fun way. Each week, DSAMT staff - Alecia Talbott & Tammy Crawford - will lead participants in a variety of activities designed to teach new content and keep current skills progressing. Participants will love the game-based activities that will also give them a great social experience. This program was designed for individuals with Down syndrome age 9-14.
Registration will be on a monthly basis and includes a $20 supply fee.
Club Can Do will meet on Thursday afternoons from 3 pm-4:30 pm at DSAMT. The group will be very limited to maintain appropriate social distancing guidelines and minimize risk to due COVID. When seated at tables, participants will be separated by plexiglass for added safety. Masks are encouraged but not required, as we know how difficult that can be. In consideration for being able to participate in Club Can Do, I and/or our organizations agree to release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue DSAMT their volunteer workers and paid staff from any and all liability for any and all loss or damage, and any and all claims or demands on account of injury to the person or property or resulting in death of the undersigned or issue of the undersigned arising or related to the event, whether caused by the negligence of releases or otherwise.I agree to allow DSAMT to photograph, record and edit, through any available technology, me and/or any organization representatives in attendance. I agree to allow DSAMT to use our images, likenesses on internet websites or any resulting publications, television programs, video or any event publicity for the purposes of education, promotion and fundraising. I agree that our organization will not receive remuneration for the use of my images, likeness or information by DSAMT and that all rights, title and interest to the photos and videos of the undersigned's image, likeness or information and use of them belongs to DSAMT. I understand that this release pertains to all available recording and distribution technologies now and in the future.
