Exhibitor Registration

Thank you for your continued support of DSAMT and the Nashville Buddy Walk®. This annual event is the largest Down syndrome awareness event in the state and our largest fundraising event. Our families enjoy seeing the support of our community and having the opportunity to learn about services and programs that would help them, as well as seeing businesses from the community who are supporting our organization.

This year's venue and overall event has been changed in order to accommodate social distancing and safety guidelines.  The event will be held at the Veterans Motorplex/Highland Rim Speedway, and we will be doing a parade around the racetrack. Exhibitors will not be permitted to hand anything to participants for safety reasons, but we do ask that you provide a little something for each team (typically about 300) that we can put in their goodie bag.  


Important information:

  • A completed exhibitor online form needs to be completed and submitted by Monday, Oct. 5th. Spaces may be available after Oct 5th, but please contact us to confirm before registration.
  • Donations must be received on or before October 5, 2020. Those can be mailed to 1310 Central Court, Hermitage, TN 37076. Please arrange with Tanya Chavez (Tanya@somethingextra.org)
  • Each exhibitor/vendor is asked to provide a giveaway for each team, which we will distribute at the end of the parade to each team. DSAMT will need to receive those by October 15, 2020, so they can be put in the goodie bags.
  • We encourage exhibitors to create their own teams at Nashville Buddy Walk, this is the ONLY way to get a free event t-shirt.
  • Exhibitors are welcomed and encouraged to come to the racetrack and cheer on participants on Saturday, November 7th. Participants will start arriving by 9:00am, so please make sure you are set up & ready to go by 8:00am. Exhibitor signage must be active until 12:00pm and removed immediately thereafter. A mask will be required of anyone outside of a vehicle.
  • Electricity is NOT available.
  • Please check in with Exhibitor Registration when you arrive, there will be volunteers to assist you to your space.
  • We will email reminders and updates about the walk to the email(s) that you provide, so feel free to list multiple email addresses.
  • After the event, please leave your area as you found it, meaning no damage, no trash and nothing left behind. If you do not clean up for yourself that means we will be forced to clean up for you. The clean up fee is $250.
  • On September 30, 2020 the Exhibitor fees will increase by $100.

  • Food trucks and food spaces selling to participants of the Nashville Buddy Walk® are required to donate a portion of the proceeds to DSAMT on the day of the event

  • ONLY for those businesses owned or co-owned by an individua with Down syndrome. Name and website mention on live feed on social media, BW website promo with link to your website, option to supply 300 items and information to share with families to be placed in the team goodie bag, are welcome to come cheer on the parade participants, and may bring your own flags, banners, or other signage to the walk
